Perm circus troupe "Gratsia" ("Grace") become the winner of the Russian TV talent show "The Minute of Fame".
Four girls from the Perm circus troupe "Gratsia" became the winners of the third season of the popular Russian TV show "The Minute of Fame" broadcast on the First Channel. The brilliant performance during the finals and the active support of the audience helped "Gratsia" receive the main prize - $1 million roubles. Half of the money will go to the troupe's directors - Eduard and Guzel Sabirianov. The rest will be distributed among the girls, although they have not decided yet what to do with the money.
The "Gratsia" troupe was started in Perm in September 1997. The girls have been training a lot under the direction of Eduard and Guzel Sabirianov. The troupe has won numerous prizes at different Russian and International circus festivals and contests that took place in Saint Petersburg, Perm, Moscow (The Delphi Games), Izhevsk, Sochi, and Novosibirsk.
In August 2008, "Gratsia" took part in Perm audition for "The Minute of Fame" and passed through. Successful performance during the semifinals gave the contestants way to the finals.
"The Minute of Fame", the Russian analogue of "America's Got Talent", is a reality television series on the First Channel. It is a "talent" show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of $1 million roubles. The first season of the show debuted in 2007.
